Support Workers
Learning Disabilities
St John’s, Ferry Road, Teddington

Support Workers are required for an innovative new project in Teddington, incorporating a care home and separate supported flats for adults with a learning disability. The posts are based within the care home service, in brand new purpose-built ground floor accommodation. There will be opportunities to work with new service users, developing a person-centred support plan prior to moving in. This is an excellent opportunity for social care professionals seeking to develop their career within a modern service, working towards ‘in control’ values and support mechanisms.

The successful candidates will understand the needs of adults with a learning disability and be able to demonstrate understanding of citizen rights & responsibilities. They will be patient, hard-working, reliable and dependable; eager to learn and undertake training to improve skills; able to verify their work history and to communicate effectively in English. Ability to obtain a disclosure certificate from the Criminal Records Bureau is essential.


The positions are full time, 39 hours per week on a shift system with sleep-over duties.
Salary: £15,213 per annum after successful completion of 6 months probation (£17,205 after completion of NVQ2 Care). Holidays: 5 weeks paid per year

Care Assistants
(Weekends or Nights)

Care Assistants are required for our care home in Hampton Wick

The successful candidates will understand the needs of older people and be able to show how they will ensure that each older person is treated as an individual and to explain how they will support each individual to carry on their lives normally, regardless of disability or impairment. They will be patient, hard-working, reliable and dependable; eager to learn and undertake training to improve skills; able to verify their work history and to communicate effectively in English. Ability to obtain a disclosure certificate from the Criminal Records Bureau is essential.

The positions are full or part time, 39 hours per week (pro rata) on a shift system.
Days Salary: £15,213 per annum after successful completion of 6 months probation (£17,205 after completion of NVQ2 Care).

Night rate: £77.32 per night weekdays, £87.89 per night weekends. Increased rates will apply will NVQ2 qualified.
Holidays: 5 weeks paid per year
