Orione House is a residential care home for elderly people in Hampton Wick. It was purpose built in 1974 and accommodates 34 people. The home caters primarily for long-stay residents but can sometimes offer short-term respite care. Care staff are on duty at all times. A local doctor and members of the District Nursing Service visit regularly. All of the bedrooms are single rooms, nine with en-suite facilities. The communal areas include two lounges, a conservatory and a visitors room. The spacious dining room doubles as a hall for social events and entertainment. The large garden is a popular feature. Kingston town centre, Hampton Court Palace and Bushey Park are within easy reach. Bus and train services are good with Hampton Wick station only a short walk away. Outings to places of interest are arranged regularly and the home's minibus is used whenever appropriate.
The chapel, in the adjacent building is always open and ministers of all faiths are welcome visitors.

Cardinal Heenan House is situated in the rural setting of Roby Mill, overlooking the Douglas Valley in Lancashire. It is a 31 bedded home with en-suite facilities throughout. The home provides permanent and respite residential care for elderly persons and is staffed by experienced and trained staff, the vast majority of whom hold an NVQ qualification in care.
The bathrooms are equipped with specialist hoists for the disabled. There is a daily activities programme for physical and mental stimulation.
Facilities include a chapel for daily church services and a minibus for trips out.

Applicants should visit the homes before making a decision and a trial stay of one month is recommended.
